Specialist(en): Prof. Dr. Kristoff Corten
The direct anterior approach for THA is a muscle sparing technique that has been associated with a steep learning curve. A large follow-up study has not been reported yet.
The functional outcomes and complications of a large cohort will be reported.

Functional outcome scores will be collected pre-operatively, 1- and 2-year post-operatively: Harris Hip, UCLA, HOOS and SF-36. Complications will be collected. Patients will be clinically investigated pre-op, 6 weeks, 1 and 2 years.
